Residents most want a healthy, safe, and comfortable living environment. This is the biggest goal for a city mayor to try to achieve. Public services are very important to a city, people will be able to live happily and comfortably if the streets aren’t covered in garbage and the roads aren’t slippery. I have set very big targets and have planned many measures for improving and strengthening public services.”
More than 900 street sweepers from 23 city maintenance agencies operating in the capital and city officials took part in the conference, where 23 street sweepers received Leading Environmental Worker, Leading City Worker, and Leading Services Worker titles, as well as certificates of honor and medals.

“I’m happy to be rewarding these hardworking people who inspire others to participate in public measures today. We can tell how well waste management is carried out by the cleanness of streets, roads, and public areas. This requires constant work. I’d like to thank all of you who carry out this important task for ensuring the healthy and comfortable living conditions of the public,” he said.
City officials discussed implemented and ongoing projects for the improvement of city maintenance, challenges faced by street sweepers, and the development of a new guidelines for landscaping and maintenance projects to be carried out until 2020.
