Prime Minister to visit rural areas

Prime Minister of Mongolia J.Erdenebat will visit Govi-Altai, Bayan-Ulgii, Bayankhongor, Uvurkhangai, and Khovd provinces from March 21 to 24.

During his visits to the provinces, J.Erdenebat will meet with residents and present them with information about the policies which are being implemented by the government and decisions made concerning the economy, industry, social welfare, and development.

He will learn about the welfare of herders around the country and is likely to witness the process of livestock birth as his visit will take place during the birthing season.

According to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, over 20 million cattle are expected to deliver calves this spring.
