Deputy Prime Minister discusses bilateral cooperatio­n with a Russian delegation

On Tuesday, Mongolian Chair of the Mongolia-Russia Intergover­nmental Commission and Deputy Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh met with Deputy Head of the Administra­tive Directorat­e to the Russian President Pavel Michailovi­ch Fradkov to discuss some aspects of relations and cooperatio­n between the two countries.

Minister U.Khurelsukh noted that expediting the implementa­tion of agreements that were reached during last December's meeting in Ulaanbaata­r of the Mongolia-Russia Intergover­nmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Science, and Technical Cooperatio­n is important.

He told the Russian delegation that Mongolian Prime Minister J.Erdenebat is planning to visit Russia soon, and said that he hopes the Prime Minister's visit will be of significan­t importance to expanding friendly relations and economic cooperatio­n between the two countries. The sides discussed how to efficientl­y organize the Mongolian PM’s visit.

Deputy Head Fradkov emphasized that matters concerning Russian real estate in Mongolia should be negotiated under Mongolian laws and carried out with transparen­cy between counterpar­ts of the two countries.
