Cabinet meets on Monday ahead of PM’s province visits
Cabinet's weekly meeting was held on Monday, instead of Wednesday, because Prime Minister J.Erdenebat will be visiting Khovd, Bayan-Ulgii, Govi-Altai, Bayankhongor, and Uvurkhangai provinces this week.
Cabinet members agreed to organize a new tender for the construction of the 126.7 kilometer Bayankhongor-Altai highway, because the two companies currently in charge of the road construction project are under investigation.
The National Program for Reducing Air Pollution was approved, under which environmental-friendly technology information centers will be established in Bayanzurkh, Songinokhairkhan, and Chingeltei districts.
The ministers weighed in with opinions on amendments to the Law on Court Decisions, which will be submitted to Parliament for review.
Guidelines were approved for discussions to be held during the meeting of the Mongolia-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Science, and Technical Cooperation, which will be held in Ulaanbaatar on March 30-31.
