21 PHOTOGRAPHS FOR 21 POEMS

On the occasion of World Poetry Day on March 21, the United Association of Mongolian Photographers and the publishing house Zokhist Dorno released the exhibition “Poem in Photography – 21/21 Duel” at the Mongolian Theater Museum.

Twenty-one association photographers and 21 famous Mongolian poets collaborated for the exhibition. For the opening reception for the exhibition, the participating poets recited the work shared in the gallery.

Each poem is accompanied by a photograph, with the photos serving as visual expressions of the meaning the poetry. Many of the photographs feature the beauty of nature and the vast landscapes of Mongolia.

The photography of Cultural Merit Artist S.Tsatsralt and N.Bukhdambii is included in the exhibition, as well as the poetry of Labor Hero and People’s Poet B.Lkhagvasuren, People’s Poet and Cultural Merit Artist T.Galsan, and D.Uriankhai.

The exhibition will be on display until March 24.
