Edutainment TV is preparing to air the second season of the vocal talent show “Yag Tuun Shig” (Your Face Sounds Familiar) on April 2.

“Your Face Sounds Familiar” is a talent show where celebrity contestants impersonate popular singers. The show challenges celebrities to perform as different iconic musical artists every week. Each contestant is randomly assigned a famous singer for their transformation each episode. Vocal coaches, choreographers, make-up artists, and stylists prepare them for their big performance, and a panel of celebrity judges evaluates their performance each week.

Edutainment TV announced the names of seven of the second season's eight participants on March 24: G.Mend-Amar from Camerton, the young singer A.Khishigdalai, X Tuts Production actor T.Barkhuu, B.Ariuntsetseg from Emots Production, member of the South Korean band Montant S.Gantogoo, pianist S.Alimaa, and singer B.Khaliun. The names of the eighth participant and the second season's judges have not been announced.

Make-up artists from Russia will work with contestants for the second season.

The seven new contestants each spoke about the show.

T.Barkhuu: I am very happy about participating in a famous show like this. I am also afraid at the same time. I don’t undervalue myself as a singer. I've sung a couple of songs in the past. Singing was my hobby, but I am not a professional singer. I am very excited to compete against very powerful participants.

G.Mend-Amar: Participants of the show will look like totally different people during the show. I will try my best. I have never impersonated a woman or sung like a woman in my life. That’s why I will pray not to choose female singers.

S.Alimaa: I am very excited. I had to be so brave when I agreed to participate in the show. I am very happy that I will compete against singers and actors. I will do my best.

S.Gantogoo: I didn’t believe it when I first received the invitation to participate in the show. I've lived in South Korea for 10 years. Mongolia has changed a lot, in a good way. I wish all the participants luck.

B.Khaliun: I haven’t appeared in public for a long time. During this time, I've paid attention to my private life. I have three sons, and I am working on my new album. I will try my best.

B.Ariuntsetseg: I was shocked when the organizers suggested that I participate in the show. I thought, why me? I am not fully confident in myself, but I can do it. The profession of an actress is so flexible, so I will show that.

A.Khishigdalai: I couldn’t participate in last year’s show, that’s why I wanted to participate in the second season. I am the youngest participant. I will show them.
