Mongolian footballers to study at the Puskas Ferenc Football Academy
Puskas Ferenc Football Academy of Hungary organized a second round of draft last Saturday to choose Mongolian footballers to study at the academy. The selection process is being carried out in cooperation with the Mongolian Football Federation (MFF).
The football academy is named after the celebrated Hungarian footballer Ferenc Puskas.
Professionals from Puskas Academy came to Mongolia to organize the draft among 55 junior footballers from Tuv, Sukhbaatar, DarkhanUul and Orkhon-Uul provinces and Ulaanbaatar.
The MFF spokesperson said, “The result of the selection hasn’t been released yet. We hope Mongolian children will study at Puskas Academy again.”
Footballer B.Amgalanbat (U15) of Kharaatsai FC, G.Ganbayar (U16) of Khoromkhon FC, O.Khantenger (U17) of Ulaanbaatar FC, and D.Temuulen (U19) of Besiktas FC studied at Puskas Academy last year.
President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj discussed Hungary-Mongolian cooperation in football during his official visit to Hungary in 2014. His visit helped launch cooperation between the Mongolian Football Federation and Puskas Academy.
