YOUNG GYMNASTS BRING HOME 26 MEDALS FROM ZHONG LING CUP 2017
The Mongolian gymnastics team, coached by international referee and coach B.Khaliun, won a total of 26 medals from the 6th Zhong Ling Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament, which was held on July 29 and 30 in Beijing, China.
More than 100 gymnasts of 20 teams from 13 countries competed in the senior, youth, middle age and junior categories of the tournament.
Gymnast G.Nomin-Erdene seized a gold medal in the hoop routine of the tournament and three silver medals in the ball, ribbon and clubs routines. She secured another silver medal by overall score.
Ts.Uyansetgel won a bronze medal in the ball routine of the tournament.
Nine-year-old gymnast U.Aina won gold medals in the free hand, ball and clubs routines, and one more gold medal by overall score.
Athlete G.Enkh-Ujin scored a gold medal in the hoop routine, and two silver medals in the ball and clubs routines. She also won a silver medal by overall score.
B.Khulan snatched three gold medals in the free hand, clubs routines and by overall score, while T.Maya seized a silver medal in the free hand routine.
Gymnast A.Namuunzaya won a gold medal in the free hand routine.
D.Oyunkhorol won gold medals in the ball, clubs routines and by overall score, while B.Khulan scored two silver medals in the ball routine and by overall score, and one gold medal in the hoop routine.
P.Ninjin secured a gold medal in the free hand routine of the tournament.
Zhong Ling Cup is organized every year by Zhong Ling Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. Zhong Ling, former gymnast, who now is a coach and entrepreneur, founded Zhong Ling Rhythmic Gymnastics Club.
The Zhong Ling Cup is a clubbased, international rhythmic gymnastics tournament.
Covering almost all ages from pre-junior level to senior level, the Zhong Ling Cup is one of the largest competitions in Asia of its kind.
