‘FIVE WISHES’ OF TS.SOLONGO

An interestin­g exhibition titled “Five Wishes” was opened by freelance artist Ts.Solongo at Bum Art Gallery in UB Inn Hotel on August 31.

Ts.Solongo graduated from the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture in 2006, majoring in fine arts. She used to work at Blue Moon art gallery in 2013.

The artist used to work at the Zanabazar’s Museum of Fine Arts as an interprete­r, after which she decided to become an artist and designer.

Ts.Solongo unveiled her first solo exhibition “Spirit Bird” in 2014, and her second exhibition “Antidote” in 2016.

Commenting on “Five Wishes”, Ts.Solongo said, “We are dealing with the world through our senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. The wishes of all five souls are to cultivate the intelligen­ce or intelligen­ce of man based on the data obtained from these five wishes.”

“Visitors have to listen and work with themselves and reflect on what is happening in your daily life through the exhibition.”

Cultural analyst and teacher A.Ganbaatar said, “I think the young generation­s of artists are very qualified.lified. One of those artists is Ts.Solongo. Through her pieces,eces, I see the energy of a young person, and her sharp thoughts which have a unique design.”

There are about 20 pieces presented. As a viewer,wer, I felt the simplicity, the unique way of thinking andd the gorgeous harmony of colors while gazing at her works.orks.

“Five Wishes” will be on view until Septemberr 8.
