Ulaanbaatar City FC wins Federation Cup 2017

The final round of the most prestigious tournament of the Mongolian Football Federation, the Federation Cup 2017, was held between Ulaanbaatar City FC and FC Ulaanbaatar last weekend.

Silver medalist of Khurkhree National League 2017 Ulaanbaatar City FC won its first Federation Cup this year.

Ulaanbaatar City FC and FC Ulaanbaatar played for the cup in the final of the 14th Federation Cup, and the first goal of the tournament was scored by the rising star of FC Ulaanbaatar O.Bayarjargal.

Ulaanbaatar City FC’s Artem Drobishev earned the first goal for his team. After that Ulaanbaatar City FC’s J.Sundorj scored another goal and ended the match 2-1 in their favor.

The winning team received 12 million MNT in prize money and FC Ulaanbaatar was awarded eight million MNT. Third and fourth places went to Erchim and Deren, which received 2.5 million MNT each.
