Last July, Global Finance Magazine, headquartered in New York City, ranked the year's Best Digital Banks by country and. Khan Bank was among the banks selected by Global Finance to be recognized by the Best Digital Bank Awards Program, and on November 2, Khan Bank CEO Mr. John Bell represented Khan Bank at an award presentation ceremony in London.
Khan Bank's Express Banks, first introduced in 2014 for both deposit and withdrawal transactions, now reach even more customers with over 130 Express Banks available nationwide. Other digital banking achievements include the introduction of a paperless ePOS service, a smart e-billing system, a QR code payment and transaction system, QPay, fingerprint identification for smart phone application log in, and Khan Pay, a service that allows customers to make transactions with only a beneficiary's location, phone number, or Facebook account.
As a result of Khan Bank's commitment to developing its digital banking platforms and introducing new services, Khan Bank now accounts for 77 percent of all ATM transactions and 40 percent of all POS transactions in the Mongolian market. Today, 1.1 million customers now access banking services using only their mobile phones.
