Folk wrestlers to battle it out for 5 million MNT prize pot

The Mongolian wrestling tournament in honor of State Lion G.Demuul from Manlai soum, Umnugovi Province will be held on March 19 in Dalanzadgad soum, Umnugovi Province.

G.Demuul was an outstanding wrestler who lived between 1935 and 1995. He received the State Elephant title after winning 24 times out of 28 matches in 1961, and the State Lion title after winning the State Naadam wrestling tournament in 1969. Moreover, he remained in the final round of the State Naadam wrestling tournament 10 times.

The winner of this Mongolian wrestling tournament will be awarded five million MNT.
