- By B.NORDOGMAA

On April 18, the Mongolian Football Federation and Anduud City Club NGO signed a one billion MNT cooperation contract through 2022.

Within the scope of the contract, a national high league will be organized with a prize fund of 200 million MNT.

Also, the high league, which had been held under the title “Khurkhree”, is changing its title to “Mazala” brand.

Director of Anduud City Club Z.Ulziibayar said, “100 MNT of each ticket of football matches sold will be donated to the fund to save Mazaalai, the rarest bear.”

According to the experts from the Ministry of Environment Protection, there are only 30-50 mazaalai or Gobi bear left on earth, which is an endemic species to Mongolia.

Representative of Mazaalai Fund A.Bayasgalan noted that a part of the net profit will be dedicated to enhance the food and water supply for Mazaalai.

The Mazala high league will commence on April 28 and fierce matches will take place between 10 teams, including Athletic 220, Arvis, Goyo FC, Deren, Selenge Press, Ulaanbaatar City, Khangarid, G-pro, FC Ulaanbaatar, and Erchim team.

The Mongolian Football Federation’s President A.Ganbaatar expressed his gratitude to Arvain Undes for their cooperation and handed an honorary medal of the federation.
