President receives new South Korean Ambassador’s credentials
New Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Mongolia Chung Jae-nam presented his credentials to President Kh.Battulga on May 17.
After receiving the ambassador’s credentials, the president sat down with the ambassador to discuss relations and cooperation between the two countries, regional development and security.
During their meeting, the president expressed his satisfaction with Mongolia's successful cooperation with South Korea in a wide range of sectors, but noted that the two countries need to make more efforts to expand economic and commercial relations.
The president pointed out that he is interested in establishing a business council for youth at the initiative of the two countries’ presidents, which will have a positive impact on collaboration opportunities between the young people of the two nations in business and technology sectors.
Supporting the president’s idea, Ambassador Jae-nam said he will work to actualize this proposal.
The ambassador emphasized that he will effectively work to continue developing relations and cooperation between the two nations.
Before the appointment of his diplomatic mission in Mongolia, Jaenam served as a consul general at the Consulate General of South Korea in Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei Province.
