Indian home affairs minister concludes visit to Mongolia
India's Minister of Home Affairs Rajnath Singh paid an official visit to Mongolia to boost bilateral relations.
As a part of his three-day visit, Minister Singh was received by President Kh.Battulga on June 23 at the State Palace to discuss some aspects on the relations and cooperation between the two countries.
During their meeting, the sides noted that this will be crucial in further strengthening bilateral cooperation in strategic areas as well as trade and commerce.
Minister Singh held a meeting with Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh on June 23 at the State Palace to discuss a wide range of issues including border management, disaster management and cyber security.
The Indian minister held a meeting with his Mongolian counterpart Ts.Nyamdorj on Saturday to discuss and exchange views on ongoing and upcoming cooperation projects between the two ministries.
Singh also attended the mini-Naadam festival organized for his visit to learn more about Mongolian traditional culture, arts and sports, and visited the Gandantsegchinlen Monastery.
During the mini-Naadam festival, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh presented Minister Singh with a horse.
In addition, he also visited the headquarters of the National General Authority for Border Protection before returning to India on June 24.
