Twin memory athletes receive Guinness World Records certificate
Twin sisters N.Munkhshur and N.Enkhshur have earned their official certification in the Guinness Book of World Records in June 26. The sisters are world memory champions, international grandmasters and members of the Mongolian Intellectual Academy.
The memory athletes set new world records in the 2017 World Memory Championship held from December 5 to 9, 2017 in Shenzhen city, China.
N.Munkhshur recalled 5,445 digits in 30 minutes, while N.Enkhshur set the world record for recalling 1,924 cards in an hour, breaking the previous record of a Swedish athlete who memorized 540 digits in 30 minutes.
Currently, the twins are studying in the Chinese language preparation course of the Peiking University. President of the Mongolian Intellectual Academy Kh.Khatanbaatar posted on his Facebook page about their accomplishments, saying that N.Munkhshur is memorizes 80 Chinese characters in four minutes and is excelling in Chinese.
