Twin mem­ory ath­letes re­ceive Guin­ness World Records cer­tifi­cate

Twin sis­ters N.Munkhshur and N.Enkhshur have earned their of­fi­cial cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in the Guin­ness Book of World Records in June 26. The sis­ters are world mem­ory cham­pi­ons, in­ter­na­tional grand­mas­ters and mem­bers of the Mon­go­lian In­tel­lec­tual Academy.

The mem­ory ath­letes set new world records in the 2017 World Mem­ory Cham­pi­onship held from De­cem­ber 5 to 9, 2017 in Shen­zhen city, China.

N.Munkhshur re­called 5,445 dig­its in 30 min­utes, while N.Enkhshur set the world record for re­call­ing 1,924 cards in an hour, break­ing the pre­vi­ous record of a Swedish ath­lete who mem­o­rized 540 dig­its in 30 min­utes.

Cur­rently, the twins are study­ing in the Chi­nese lan­guage prepa­ra­tion course of the Peik­ing Univer­sity. Pres­i­dent of the Mon­go­lian In­tel­lec­tual Academy Kh.Khatan­baatar posted on his Face­book page about their ac­com­plish­ments, say­ing that N.Munkhshur is mem­o­rizes 80 Chi­nese char­ac­ters in four min­utes and is ex­celling in Chi­nese.
