The Mongoliin Saikhan Busgui 2018, a pageant show of the Mongolian Ladies Association of Khatan Erdene, was organized to raise public awareness of “right mentality, right attitude and right behaviors” at Zaisan Hill Complex on June 30.
Eighteen glamorous women, chosen from 100, competed through their talent, beauty and intelligence at the event. In order to make the event extraordinary for the audiences, the organizing team included several surprises. For example, while those that were on time were able to get the best seats, the first 300 audiences were gifted cutouts of the Saikhan Busgui competition.
The show came back after 10 years of break. The top participants of the previous shows were involved in the organization of this year's show.
Moreover, the show gave away 150 million MNT worth of prizes, and the winner received 20 million MNT in cash prize. The winner also received a silver tiara, crafted by State Honored Folk Artist U.Yadamsuren and her son, State Honored Artist Ya.Urjnee. In 1989, the very first tiara of the competition was given to N.Binderiya.
