Top scorers of general enrollment examination receive 1.5 million MNT
Officials of Sukhbaatar, Umnugovi and Dornod provinces granted cash prizes to local students who scored a perfect score of 800 in any subject at the recent general enrollment examination.
The Mayor’s Office of Umnugovi Province rewarded a cash prize of one million MNT to 1.5 million MNT to 11 students who scored more than 760 points in the general enrollment examination, while officials of Dornod Province decided to award one million MNT to students who earned a perfect score of 800 in the state exams and 500,000 MNT to their teacher.
The Mayor’s Office of Sukhbaatar Province reported that two of their students attained a perfect score. Four students who earned high scores in mathematics, physics and social studies were enrolled in a higher engineering and technology education program through which they will get to study in Japan. Currently, around 10 students are studying in Japan through the program.
At national scale, 22 students from Ulaanbaatar were reported to have earned 800 points in the mathematics exam.
