Top scor­ers of gen­eral en­roll­ment ex­am­i­na­tion re­ceive 1.5 mil­lion MNT

Of­fi­cials of Sukhbaatar, Um­nu­govi and Dornod prov­inces granted cash prizes to lo­cal stu­dents who scored a per­fect score of 800 in any sub­ject at the re­cent gen­eral en­roll­ment ex­am­i­na­tion.

The Mayor’s Of­fice of Um­nu­govi Province rewarded a cash prize of one mil­lion MNT to 1.5 mil­lion MNT to 11 stu­dents who scored more than 760 points in the gen­eral en­roll­ment ex­am­i­na­tion, while of­fi­cials of Dornod Province de­cided to award one mil­lion MNT to stu­dents who earned a per­fect score of 800 in the state ex­ams and 500,000 MNT to their teacher.

The Mayor’s Of­fice of Sukhbaatar Province re­ported that two of their stu­dents at­tained a per­fect score. Four stu­dents who earned high scores in math­e­mat­ics, physics and so­cial stud­ies were en­rolled in a higher en­gi­neer­ing and tech­nol­ogy education pro­gram through which they will get to study in Japan. Cur­rently, around 10 stu­dents are study­ing in Japan through the pro­gram.

At na­tional scale, 22 stu­dents from Ulaan­baatar were re­ported to have earned 800 points in the math­e­mat­ics exam.
