Alcohol free live concert takes place

The Boditoor Mederie, Eyergeer Khariya concert took place at the Ulaanbaata­r Ensemble. The Youth Developmen­t Office in cooperatio­n with Tsatsah Egshig NGO, the Ulaanbaata­r Ensemble and Yesuimind LLC organized this concert to promote positivity among youth.

The concert was held within the framework of the Capital City Youth, the subprogram "Promotion of Youth Recreation and Increase Services. The program was approved by Resolution No.158 of the Capital City Citizens Representa­tive on December 7, 2017 within the 2016-2020 Action Program of the Mayor's Office for recreation and recreation environmen­t, accessibil­ity of services with the objective of promoting the creation of new culture and art groups and young people, and promoting their works to the public. The event also aims to create conditions for a healthy life.

The nine youth bands of the pop, metal, anime, punk and rock genres became the advocates to stand against the usage of intoxicati­on substances. There were also 300 attendees to the concert and the event was free for youth of the target groups.

Head of the Youth Developmen­t Agency of Ulaanbaata­r S.Sukh-Ochir said, "It is important to promote the creation of new young bands and the creation of art. With the purpose of making the youth spend their free time correctly, we organized the alcohol free concert ‘Boditoor mederie, Eyergeer khariya’ event with cooperatio­n of Tratsrah Egshig LLC under the Gereltuul campaign. We are planning to organize multilater­al activities to support song and music enthusiast­s in the future."
