The new building of State Dental and Facial Center opened its doors on the northeast side of School No. 33 in 3rd khoroo of Bayanzurkh District on October 4.
The center hopes to speed up the delivery of oral and maxillofacial surgery and other health services for injuries, defects and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws and face. The new six-story building was built with city state funds and is estimated to boost the capacity of the center by up to two times.
The State Dental and Facial Center, founded in 1986, has 72 staff and four main departments – facial and oral treatment, disease prevention, maxillofacial surgery, administration and finance. The main branch has 23 cabinets and provides services for 100,000 to 120,000 people on average a year. With the enhanced capacity, the State Dental and Facial Center hopes to service over 500,000 patients a year.
The new building has separate elevators for customers and staff use, integrated air conditioning system, and well-equipped rooms to provide comfortable condition. The center focused on providing every needs of young children and people living with disabilities as the majority of patients are children in kindergarten and elementary school.
