Czech and Mongolia to strengthen trade and economic cooperatio­n

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Eduard Muricky on October 8 in Ulaanbaata­r to talk about bilateral relations.

During their meeting, the sides discussed bilateral relations and cooperatio­n in the areas of trade, economy, agricultur­e, energy and education.

Eduard expressed his satisfacti­on with the current state of bilateral traditiona­l relations and cooperatio­n. Both officials noted that the two countries have potentials to expand economic cooperatio­n further.

The Czech delegates led by Eduard will take part in the Mongolia-Czech business forum, which will be held on October 11 in Ulaanbaata­r.

More than 20 representa­tives from nearly 10 Czech enterprise­s operating in the areas of water purificati­on, machinery, small scale farming equipment, banking, transporta­tion and freight arrived in Ulaanbaata­r to participat­e in the business forum.

D.Davaasuren underlined that since 2012, the two countries have been organizing the business forum to promote cooperatio­n between entreprene­urs of the two countries.

On October 9, Eduard addressed Expo Mongolia 2018 Conference, which is taking from October 9 to 11 at the Misheel Expo in Ulaanbaata­r.
