In the first half of 2018, IPTV service providers accounted for 10.71 percent of total revenue in the telecommunications sector, reported the Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC).

One of the larger IPTV providers, Skymedia Corporation LLC said that 30 percent of its customers consume around 2.4 movies or television shows in a month. Around 50 percent of the content consumed is Mongolian.

Meanwhile, Univison LLC reported that it has connected 95 percent of apartment complexes with fiber cables. In addition, the company said it is looking to expand its services such as TV Box and Look TV.
