Judokas cancel contract with UAE

At the beginning of this year, the United Arab Emirates sent a request to the Mongolian Judo Federation to have three Mongolian judokas fight under their name. The UAE had signed a contract with international sports master D.Tumurkhuleg (66 kg), N.Dagvasuren (81 kg), and B.Temuulen (100 kg). However, the contracts have been cancelled and the judokas will no longer fight for the UAE at international competitions, according to local media.

The reason for the reversal is still unknown and the athletes are to fight under the Mongolian flag at the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, set to take place from October 27 to 29.
