Lhamour takes special award at Open to Export
Mongolian organic skincare brand Lhamour became one of the 12 finalists for the Open to Export International Business Awards, initiated by the World Trade Organization and International Chamber of Commerce
Best startups from 74 countries including the USA, Japan, Germany and the UK competed in the competition, aimed at encouraging small businesses around the world to begin trading internationally. The Zambian honey project won the competition and Mongolia’s Lhamour brand of Natural Essentials LLC received a special prize with its export action plan during the WTO Public Forum, held in Geneva from October 2 to 4.
Lhamour was awarded for its corporate social responsibility initiatives, women’s employment promotion, eco-friendly production technology, optimal export strategy developed for four years and great presentation of the project.
As one of the 12 finalists, Lhamour will receive training in export skills.
