Minister D.Tsogtbaatar visits Great Britain
Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar is visiting the United Kingdom from October 10 to 12 to take part in an international conference titled “Illegal Wildlife Trade” being organized by the British government.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar held a meeting with UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Mongolia Julian Knight to discuss bilateral trade and economic cooperation during his visit.
During their meeting, both sides expressed their views on the current state of trade and economic cooperation and exchanged views on ways to further improve bilateral relations of Mongolia-UK in future actions in both international and regional affairs.
D.Tsogtbaatar underlined that Mongolia is interested in expanding and developing friendly ties with the UK in all sectors, including trade and investment.
The minister expressed an interest to retain the current European Union’s Generalized System of Preferences Plus (GSP+) trade arrangement and facilitations for Mongolian export products to the UK market after Brexit.
