Mongolian Embassy in Germany holds open door

The Embassy of Mongolia to Germany organized an Open Door event on October 3 with the purpose of delivering public services to those who live and study in Germany alongside increasing involvement of individuals and entities in activities organized by the embassy. The embassy also seeks to establish further interconnection and promote initiatives of individuals.

The event's opening ceremony kicked off with a morin khuur performance and many of the Mongolians in attendance were dressed in traditional clothing.

During the event, Mongolian and German officials expressed their views on how the 45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries should be celebrated. Moreover, Mongolian companies including MIAT Mongolian Airlines, Gobi Cashmere, Mongolian Air Trans, Mongolian Air Transport, Usus Handmade as well as NGOs such as Tsog Sport Club and MAC introduced their activities and cooperation proposals, and organized a lottery among visitors.

To attract as many people as possible in the event, the embassy organized the event on a public holiday of the country — the Day of German Unity. More than 100 visitors attended the event, enjoying the activities, such as cultural performance of Khukh Mongol folk band.
