Turquoise Hill share structure sees changes

According to filings to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), several institutio­nal investors and hedge funds have added to or reduced their stakes in the stock in Turquoise Hill Resources.

Bank of Nova Scotia has decreased its position in shares of Turquoise Hill Resources by 9.1 percent during the second quarter, according to the company’s most recent filing with the SEC.

The institutio­nal investor now owns 864,090 shares of the basic materials company’s stock after selling 86,197 shares during the second quarter. Bank of Nova Scotia’s holdings in Turquoise Hill Resources were worth 2.4 million USD at the end of the most recent quarter.

Millennium Management LLC increased its stake in shares of Turquoise Hill Resources by 18.7 percent during the second quarter.
