Bike Day takes place

The capital’s Bike Day took place over the weekends on October 13. The event was organized by the Mayor’s Office, Physical Culture and Sports Authority, Mongolian Cycling Federation and the Youth Bikers Club. There were numerous events planned for amateurs and professionals alike, such as a bike parade and a mountain biking race for people of all ages. In alignment with Bike Day, the Extreme Biking Trail National Championship also took place.

The bike parade took place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. visiting the National Garden Park, Ikh Tengeriin Am, Marshal Bridge to Sky Resort.

People of all ages were welcomed to participate in the parade as long as they can ride a bike decently without running into others or causing traffic. Children under the age of 13 had to participate with parental supervision and all types of bikes were allowed, except for bikes with motors and batteries.
