Sri Lanka to open honorary consulate office in Ulaanbaatar

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren granted an exequatur to Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka to Mongolia D.Orgilmaa on October 25.

After receiving her exequatur from D.Davaasuren, D.Orgilmaa sat down with him to talk about some cooperation issues between the two countries.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on cooperation in the areas of trade, tourism and culture between Mongolia and Sri Lanka.

Speaker of Sri Lanka’s Parliament Deshabandu Karu Jayasuriya started an official visit to Mongolia on October 28, at the invitation of Speaker M.Enkhbold. During his visit, Jayasuriya will inaugurate the office of Sri Lanka’s Honorary Consulate in Ulaanbaatar on October 30.
