16th Virtuoso Gala Concert to take place
The Virtuoso Gala Concert-2018 of classical and national music will take place at the State Philharmonic on October 31. Twelve top international and Mongolian musicians who had outstanding achievements this year will be performing for the evening.
The feature performances of this year are by horse fiddle instrumentalist and soloist of the Morin Khuur Ensemble N.Jigjiddorj and Music and Dance College fourth grader pianist O.Nandin. For the past month, the horse fiddler has gone on a tour with international artists through the US within the framework of the One Beat project. Directly afterwards, he has put on a performance with Japanese pianist Ide Noriki and just recently returned to Mongolia.
As for the young pianist, O.Nandin has competed in international competitions in Spain, France, England and Italy, winning top prizes in all of them in her respective age category.
The concert takes place in two parts and will be made up of the following performances in this order.
