Law­maker B.Saranchimeg dis­cusses co­op­er­a­tion projects with Cana­dian am­bas­sador

Chair of Mon­go­lia-Canada in­terpar­lia­men­tary group in Par­lia­ment B.Saranchimeg re­ceived Am­bas­sador of Canada to Mon­go­lia David Wil­liam Sproule on Oc­to­ber 29 at the State Palace to talk about some is­sues of bi­lat­eral re­la­tions and co­op­er­a­tion.

Law­maker B.Saranchimeg thanked the govern­ment of Canada, the Cana­dian Em­bassy in Ulaan­baatar, and Canada Fund for im­ple­ment­ing sev­eral im­por­tant projects in Mon­go­lia and pro­vid­ing fi­nan­cial and other as­sis­tance to Mon­go­lia.

“We should ac­tively co­op­er­ate with the em­bassy to en­hance the cur­rent re­la­tions and co­op­er­a­tion of the two coun­tries’ par­lia­ments, so I will seek ac­tive col­lab­o­ra­tion with the em­bassy,” the law­maker said.

The am­bas­sador pro­vided B.Saranchimeg a brief in­tro­duc­tion of on­go­ing projects be­ing im­ple­mented in Mon­go­lia with Cana­dian sup­port.

Dur­ing their meeting, they talked about pos­si­bil­i­ties to get of­fi­cials of Par­lia­ment of Mon­go­lia at­tend a train­ing an­nu­ally or­ga­nized by the Par­lia­ment of Canada for of­fi­cials of in­ter­na­tional par­lia­ments.

In ad­di­tion, they ex­changed views on ac­tiv­i­ties to com­mem­o­rate the 45th an­niver­sary of the estab­lish­ment of diplo­matic re­la­tions be­tween Mon­go­lia and Canada, which is tak­ing place this year.
