Mon­go­lian and Rus­sian res­cue teams hold joint drill

The Na­tional Emer­gency Man­age­ment Agency and the Emer­gency Man­age­ment Min­istry of Rus­sia es­tab­lished plans to pre­vent disas­ter and ac­ci­dents with a joint drill that con­cluded on Oc­to­ber 30. In ac­cor­dance to this plan, the Emer­gency Man­age­ment Agency in Dornod Prov­ince or­ga­nized a train­ing in Chu­lu­unkho­root soum ti­tled “Emer­gency through borders and trans­bound­ary for­est and steppe fire pre­ven­tion” in the col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Emer­gency Ser­vice of Rus­sia.

Dur­ing the drill, they learned about the tools and machines used to com­bat for­est and steppe fires. In ad­di­tion the two sides or­ga­nized a joint fire fight­ing drill. Some 30 of­fi­cers from the Emer­gency Of­fice of Dornod Prov­ince, Emer­gency Ser­vice of Rus­sia, the bor­der ad­min­is­tra­tion and Chu­lu­unkho­root soum Mayor’s Of­fice took part in the drill. The Dornod Prov­ince Emer­gency Man­age­ment Agency re­ported that there was no cross-bor­der fire in the ter­ri­tory of Dornod since the an­nual joint drill started be­ing held.
