Foreign affairs minister attends global security meeting
Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar is participating in the Munich Security Conference (MSC) Core Group Meeting, being held in Minsk, Belarus from October 30 to November 2.
The conference has been organized since 1963, which is one of the key mechanisms for discussing international security issues in detail. Over 100 delegates from around the world participated in the meeting to discuss crucial topics with the aim of increasing mutual trust between the East and the West.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar attended a roundtable on transnational security and discussion on East-West relations.
As part of the meeting, D.Tsogtbaatar held a meeting with Chairman of the MSC Wolfgang Ischinger to exchange views on the importance of MSC and further cooperation.
The Mongolian foreign affairs minister also met with Senator of Canada and Chair of the Canadian Senate’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade Raynell Andreychuk to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.
