Dornogovi stu­dents to study in Ja­pan

A part­ner­ship agree­ment to ed­u­cate stu­dents of gen­eral ed­u­ca­tion schools in Dornogovi Prov­ince in Ja­pan was signed on Novem­ber 5. Dornogovi Mayor T.Enkhtu­vshin, Head of Shizuoka and Mon­go­lian Good­will As­so­ci­a­tion Kita­gawa Masahiro and Wakayama Nan­ryo High School signed the agree­ment.

With this agree­ment, the top five stu­dents of the prov­ince in grade 10, who are 15 years old, will be study­ing to be­come a sports coach for three years, free of tu­ition fees in Ja­pan. The stu­dents se­lected by the Wakayama Nan­ryo High School ad­min­is­tra­tion will study in Ja­pan start­ing April 2019.

Since 2016, Kita­gawa Masahiro has been work­ing with Dornogovi Prov­ince in ed­u­ca­tion ex­change and has brought 100 Mon­go­lian stu­dents to Ja­pan for a home stay pro­gram. The stu­dents will at­tend a lo­cal fes­ti­val in Shizuoka Pre­fec­ture to per­form Mon­go­lian tra­di­tional mu­sic and dances.

The stu­dents will be se­lected by the Mayor’s Of­fice of Dornogovi.
