Dornogovi students to study in Japan
A partnership agreement to educate students of general education schools in Dornogovi Province in Japan was signed on November 5. Dornogovi Mayor T.Enkhtuvshin, Head of Shizuoka and Mongolian Goodwill Association Kitagawa Masahiro and Wakayama Nanryo High School signed the agreement.
With this agreement, the top five students of the province in grade 10, who are 15 years old, will be studying to become a sports coach for three years, free of tuition fees in Japan. The students selected by the Wakayama Nanryo High School administration will study in Japan starting April 2019.
Since 2016, Kitagawa Masahiro has been working with Dornogovi Province in education exchange and has brought 100 Mongolian students to Japan for a home stay program. The students will attend a local festival in Shizuoka Prefecture to perform Mongolian traditional music and dances.
The students will be selected by the Mayor’s Office of Dornogovi.
