Political parties stand with U.Khurelsukh

-

Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received representatives of 14 political parties at their request on November 28 at the State Palace to listen to their opinions on Cabinet dissolution and his work performance in office.

All representatives in attendance said that they are supporting U.Khurelsukh’s reform to bring justice to society, and claimed that they are against his Cabinet’s resignation.

U.Khurelsukh expressed his satisfaction that many political parties and representatives of political activists who have been struggling to bring justice and fair political system to Mongolia’s society in recent years are supporting the prime minister’s reforms for justice.

The prime minister noted that few people controlling the country are blocking his efforts to free the country from the influences of oligarchies, and their opposition to his justice reforms are working to undermine his Cabinet.

Several political parties’ chairmen said that the demand for Cabinet resignation proposed by 27 lawmakers of the Mongolian People’s Party has stirred up anger in society in recent days, and some of them said that as there are some “bad” people wanting to push Mongolia into political instability or chaos, and Mongolians should avoid unwanted chaos.

Some said that many people are ready to join a march or protest for justice and fair society.

The prime minister told the political parties’ representatives that calling on people, especially young people, to join any activities that can bring chaos to society is wrong, so the state authorities and political parties should help ease tension and call on the public to calm down.
