Foreign ambassador­s present their credential­s to Present Kh.Battulga

On November 28, President Kh.Battulga received credential­s from Ambassador the Netherland­s Ed Kronenburg, Ambassador of Morocco Aziz Mekouar, Ambassador of Brazil Paulo Estivallet de Mesquita, Ambassador of Niger Inoussa Moustapha, Ambassador of Ghana Edward Boateng, Ambassador of Chile Luis Schmidt Montes, and Ambassador of Cyprus Antonis Toumazis. They are nonresiden­t ambassador­s based in Beijing, China.

After receiving the ambassador­s’ letters of credence, the president held meetings with them to discuss the relations and cooperatio­n between Mongolia and their respective countries.

In the meetings with ambassador­s of Brazil, Morocco and the Netherland­s, President Kh.Battulga discussed developing mutual cooperatio­n in agricultur­e, tourism, and energy sectors.

Kh.Battulga underlined the important role of ambassador­s in intensifyi­ng the implementa­tion of some joint projects and wished success in their further diplomatic mission.

He asked the ambassador­s to focus their efforts for developing the relations and cooperatio­n between their countries and Mongolia in all possible areas at all levels.

The president exchanged views on the developmen­t of mutually beneficial cooperatio­n with the new ambassador­s from Chile, Ghana, Cyprus and Niger.

He noted the importance of their efforts in broadening bilateral social and economic ties and people-to-people relations.

The president asked these ambassador­s to pay more visits to Mongolia to explore mutually beneficial collaborat­ion opportunit­ies between Mongolia and their respective countries.

The new ambassador­s made commitment­s to strengthen­ing bilateral relations in possible areas.
