3 times higher daily trans­ac­tion limit set

Peo­ple can now trans­fer up to three mil­lion MNT a day via the in­ter­net, fol­low­ing the Na­tional Elec­tronic Trans­ac­tion Cen­ter’s new de­ci­sion.

Ear­lier this week, the Na­tional Elec­tronic Trans­ac­tion Cen­ter of Mon­gol Bank tripled the daily limit for on­line trans­ac­tion to three mil­lion MNT to meet pub­lic re­quests. The de­ci­sion was made af­ter con­duct­ing a thor­ough study and es­ti­ma­tion, ac­cord­ing to the cen­ter.

Cus­tomers are al­lowed to make on­line trans­ac­tions any time of the day and the trans­ac­tion will be com­pleted in less than four sec­onds re­gard­less of the lo­ca­tion or date, said a spokesper­son for the Na­tional Elec­tronic Trans­ac­tion Cen­ter.

The cen­ter hopes that the new limit will pro­mote the pub­lic use of on­line pay­ment sys­tems.
