Mon­go­lian con­tor­tion­ists fea­tured in Dis­ney’s ‘Dumbo’

The live ac­tion film of Walt Dis­ney “Dumbo” is to be re­leased in March 2019. Four Mon­go­lian con­tor­tion­ists from the Mon­go­lian Cir­cus Devel­op­ment Cen­ter are to be fea­tured in the film as cir­cus per­form­ers. Con­tor­tion­ists Ch.Ot­gonchimeg, E.Ari­unchimeg, and B.Zolzaya and G.Ol­dokh have played sup­port­ing roles in the film.

Ac­cord­ing to a trainer of the Mon­go­lian Cir­cus Devel­op­ment Cen­ter Ms. Uran­goo, this is the first Hol­ly­wood film that is fea­tur­ing Mon­go­lian con­tor­tion­ists and the roles were of­fered to the group about a year ago. The up­com­ing film is di­rected by Tim Burton and the prin­ci­pal photography took place in July 2017.

Other re­cent Mon­go­lian pres­ence in Hol­ly­wood films in­cludes ac­tress T.Enkhtulga as Na­dine Shao in “Crazy Rich Asians”.
