Mongolia loses to China 10-0 in EAFF Football Championships qualifier
The Mongolian women’s football team was completely defeated by the Chinese team on the first day of the second preliminary round of the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) Football Championship qualifiers.
The championship, scheduled from December 1 to 5, is commencing in Guam. The Mongolian team consists of 19 players and is being coached by G. Tsedevsuren.
At 30 degrees Celsius, the two teams competed for 95 minutes at the Guam Football Association National Training Center. China took control from the kick-off, with striker Wang Shanshan contributing a hat-trick to China’s eight goals in the first half. After the restart, Wang scored a fourth while Yao Wei added another to help China seal a 10-0 victory.
Mongolia will go up against Hong Kong on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.
