North Korean basketball players to compete in Mongolian league tournament

The Mongolian National Basketball Association (MNBA) announced that four basketball players of North Korea will participate in the Mongolian National Basketball League Tournament, which will be held in January 2019.

During Foreign Minister of North Korea Ri Yong-ho’s visit to Mongolia held few days ago, President of MNBA S.Erdene discussed developing more cooperation between the two countries in basketball with the North Korean minister.

They agreed to take cooperation between the basketball associations of the two countries to a new level.

Mongolian basketball players will conduct joint training with North Korean basketball players in the first half of next year.
