President Kh.Battulga’s biography released in India

-

The Delhi Study Group launched the book “President Kh.Battulga, Whom I Know” by D.Turmunkh last Friday.

The book launch took place at the Constitution Club in Rafi Marg area in New Delhi, with Indian and Mongolian representatives, including President of Delhi Study Group Vijay Jolly and Mongolian Ambassador to India G.Ganbold.

“President Kh.Battulga, Whom I Know” book was published by the HarAnand Publications in Mongolia earlier this year and translated to English by Ambassador G.Ganbold.

The book starts with a phrase saying, “Probably I am the only journalist who knows Battulga the best” and delves into how businessman and politician Kh.Battulga struggled through life to become the president of Mongolia on July 7, 2017. As a fellow student at the School of Fine Arts, the book’s author D.Turmunkh knew a great deal of Kh.Battulga’s life before taking his oath of office, including how he started a business to help his ill mother during socialism, trained in judo to go abroad, and decided to become a politician.

The book was written three years prior to Kh.Battulga’s election as the president of Mongolia.

The book launch is a good prelude prior to the Mongolian president’s state visit to India, the date of which is yet to be determined. The president of India extended an invitation to President Kh.Battulga last year and the two sides have been trying to arrange a visit since as it will likely play an important role to expanding current inter-governmental projects, identifying future trends and collaborations, and taking the IndiaMongolia relationship to new heights.
