The Ulaanbaatar Transportation Office has decided to provide free bus services to help people get home once the annual New Year’s Celebration at Sukhbaatar Square is over.

The Ulaanbaatar’s Silver Night celebration will kick off at 10:00 p.m. on December 31 with concerts, fireworks and fun activities. The organizing committee has assigned 18 large buses to transport passengers to 18 different destinations when the celebration ends at 1:00 a.m.

Buses will run from three locations, which are:

» “A” bus stop – for buses heading to east from the south side of Sukhbaatar Square

» “B” bus stop – for buses heading west and south from the west side of Sukhbaatar Square

» “C” bus stop – for buses heading to north from the east side of Sukhbaatar Square
