Snow melody in town

- By B.dUlGUUN

With the New Year’s Eve just around the corner, Norphei Art Gallery has decorated its walls with stunning Christmas and winter artwork.

The new “Snow Melody” exhibition displays more than 50 artworks painted by art professor of the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture U.Gandulam and her students.

The exhibition will take your mind off of the freezing cold temperature and other negative aspects of winter and help you focus on the beautiful moments. For example, the beautiful bright moon shining throughout the long night, snowflakes slowly twirling down from the sky, a view from the window of the morning sun reflecting in the snow, quiet evening in the woods, hectic New Year’s Eve party crowded with people at Sukhbaatar Square, and symphony orchestra playing happy music.

Only an artist has the able to make a painting of falling snow seem like it is falling in a sweet melodic rhythm. This exhibition will help visitors reminisce about their wonderful memories related to winter and become excited for the New Year’s Eve.

The exhibition will be open through January 5 at Norpheri Art Gallery in BlueMon Center.
