81 students to study in Japan
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports announced on Wednesday that 81 students have been selected to study in Japan through KOSEN Program.
The students were selected by the steering committee of Higher Engineering Education Development Project, being jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The committee said that 30 out of 34 students who took the exam for KOSEN program and 51 out of 75 examinees for a joint bachelor program were selected. Students to study for the joint bachelor and KOSEN programs will start school in April, while undetermined number of teachers and researchers will do nondegree program in the first quarter of 2019.
