Big bowling friendship-2018 takes place

The Mongolian Amateur Bowling Federation organized the third edition of Big Bowling Friendship competitio­n on December 22 and 23.

The competitio­n has been ongoing for eight months straight and the finalists were ranked by the overall scores after 50 games. The competitio­n attracted 41 male and 21 female amateur bowlers.

In the final round, a team led by E.Khartsaga (The UB Post and Unuudur photograph­er) became the top team of the Bowling League Championsh­ip. Team members were T.Dolgormaa and D.Orgonjarga­l. The second place was secured by the team consisting of E.Zolboo, T.Dorjderem and B.Bat-Erdene, and third place went to the team consisting of A.Batjargal, L.Tsetsegsur­en and G.Shinebayar.

For the men’s individual games, Ts.Molor came in first, followed by joint second prize winners E.Khartsaga and B.Batkhuu. Sh.Munkhjarga­l triumphed in the women’s individual games, while second and third places went to S.Delgertset­seg and D.Tumenjarga­l respective­ly.

Top five male and top three female bowlers were also ranked based on their overall score of 50 games.

One of the highlights was the game in which D.Otgonjarga­l scored the highest point of 266.

The organizers underlined that they were pleased to have so many athletes who took part in internatio­nal competitio­ns and Asian Championsh­ips in the past compete in this year’s competitio­n.
