Notable achievement in team sports

Mongolian athletes have made notable achievements in individual sports like judo, freestyle wrestling and boxing. This year, the national basketball, ice hockey and football teams have shown that it can prevail in team sports too.

The team performed well at international competitions, securing silver at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup Championship. It also participated in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup for the first time this year and came in eighth place.

The ice hockey team won the Asian Cup for the first time this year too. In the past, it won silver and four bronze medals. The football team is working hard to develop team sports in Mongolia and has been taking part in many competitions to further their achievements.
