Traffic collisions kill 7 on Wednesday

On May 20, seven people died in traffic collisions in Ulaanbaata­r and provinces, including two children aged 6 and 13, according to the Traffic Police Department.

Some serious accidents include:

At 8:30 a.m. a Toyota Allion crashed into a Toyota Prius and killed a 46yearold pedestrian in 3rd khoroo of KhanUul District.

At 8:30 p.m. a small tractor without state registrati­on plate rolled over on a dirt road, killing the 26yearold driver, in Bugat bag, 50 kilometers from Ikh Tamir soum center in Arkhangai Province.

At 8:00 a.m. a Toyota Raum rolled over on the dirt road of Zagastai Davaa (18 kilometers far from soum center) of Yaruu soum in Zavkhan Province, killing a 72yearold woman and 13yearold child.

At 8:15 a.m. a Nissan Advan rolled over on the Tsenkherii­n River Bridge, Tsenkherma­ndal soum of Khentii Province, causing the death of a 56yearold woman, sixyearold child, and 30yearold man.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution and care, and to ensure the safety of their vehicles at all times.
