Prime minister announces competition for media
A competition for television and radio content that promote national history, heritage and tradition was announced under the support of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh.
Over 300 million MNT is budgeted for the competition being held in a relation to the upcoming Naadam festival, with the aim to instill love for the nation through TV and radio content.
The competition hopes to increase national themed content in TV and radio programs and to improve content quality.
Nominations are:
• Best TV content
• Best radio content
• Best content for children (TV and radio)
• Best content from provincial TVs and radios
All TVs, radios, studios, productions and artists’ unions can participate in the competition.
Entrees will be collected from July 1 to 7 at the Communications and Information Technology Authority. Contests created in 2020 have to be broadcast between July 10 and 16 through TV or radio to qualify for the competition.
