Foreign presidents extend Naadam greetings
Presidents and state heads of foreign countries such as Russia, China, USA, Japan, South Korea, India, Turkey and the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, have extended greetings to President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh and Speaker of Parliament G.Zandanshatar on the occasion of the 2,229th anniversary of foundation of the first Mongolian Statehood, 814th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 99th anniversary of People’s Revolution of Mongolia,
In particular, in his letter sent to President Kh.Battulga, President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin emphasized his confidence that strengthening and growing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership would fully satisfy the interests of people of the two countries while Chairman of the Federation Council V. I. Matviyenko underlined in his letter sent to Speaker G.Zandanshatar the importance of co-celebrating the 100th diplomatic anniversary between Mongolia and Russia next year.
In his greetings extended to President Kh.Battulga, President of China Xi Jinping noted that the two countries are writing their new history of friendship by fighting against COVID-19 together this year.
"Your special visit to China and expression of support to our country during a time of combating the infectious disease has vividly shown the kind and friendly cooperation of the two nations. I wish the two sides to strengthen mutual political trust, deepen their cooperation, to develop Mongolia-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership nonstop as well as to make more contributions for the goodness of the people of the two countries and in securing regional peace and stability."
“The people of our two countries have strong relations of partnership which came along with unified strategic interests, common values of democracy as well as principles of respecting human rights and the law. Our cooperation for peace and prosperity indicates our strong ties. Our joint effort in this difficult time for mitigating the aftereffect of COVID-19 pandemic will deepen friendly ties of our two nations,” US President Donald J. Trump highlighted in his greetings.
Furthermore, President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jaein sent congratulatory greetings to his Mongolian counterpart Kh.Battulga and voiced his intent for keeping bilateral friendly relations and cooperation fruitful in the future on the occasion of the 30th jubilee of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Korea, which is being commemorated in 2020.
Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland extended greetings to President Kh.Battulga on the occasion of Naadam.
“I am hopeful that the strong relations of our two countries would expand and develop through inter-parliamentary cooperation in the future,” Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentof stressed in his greetings addressed to Speaker of Parliament G.Zandanshatar.
Chairman of the Government of Russia M. V. Mishustin voiced his intent to Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh to work together in deepening cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, investment, science and technology.
