Members of national team announced

-

Each year the Mongolian Football Federation changes the roster of the Mongolian football national team based on each player’s development in a year and their statistics. A 10-days training of the national team will start on Friday with the Mongolian Football Federation announcement of the updated roster.

The national team roster

Attackers and defenders – A.Temuujin, N.Naranbold, P.Enkhbileg, D.Turbat, M.Batkhishig, E.Khosbayar, Kh.Tsend-Ayush, G.Gantogtokh, N.Narmandakh, O.Mijiddorj, O.Oyunbaatar, V.Temuujin, B.Bayanmunkh, S.Gankhuyag, G.Bilguun, Ts.Tumur-Ochir, B.Davaajav, G.Tuguldur, G.Bilguun, S.Gal-Erdene, N.Tsedenbal, A.Dulguun, and Ts.Baasanjav.

Goalkeepers – E.Munkh-Erdene, A.Saikhanchuluun, T.Turbold and B.Munkhbold.

There are 12 players were on reserve, including B.Ariunbold from Khaan Khuns Erchim FC, who showed his skills last season.

Khaan Khuns Erchim becomes the team with the most players in the national team, with six players. The youngest player is 19-year-old A.Dulguun while 32-year-old N.Tsedenbal is the oldest.

Fans criticized that veteran players around 27 to 32 years of age should be excluded from the national team so that younger players get the chance to play.

International football tournaments are being held in few places, with Asian football currently inactive due to border lockdowns caused by COVID-19. Major competitions have been delayed indefinitely and whether the Mongolian team can attend international games is uncertain. Despite this, the national team should always be in good shape, according to sports expert.
